In France, Canada, Switzerland and many other countries people speak French, but did you know that there is a French-speaking community in the United States too? You can learn something about the Cajun culture and community when the award-winning movie “Zachary Richard, Cajun Heart” by Acadian filmmaker Phil Comeau screens at the 3rd-floor Performance Center at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old U.S. Mint.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $12.50 for Friends of the Cabildo members. Screenings are at 5:30 pm & 7pm. To purchase tickets, visit friendsofthecabildo.org.
