Recovered Memories Opening Gala Friday, April 20 | 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Cabildo, 701 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA 70116

Celebrate the Louisiana Museum Foundation’s first tricentennial event with the opening of Recovered Memories. Organized by Iberdrola in association with the Louisiana State Museum, this magnificent 7,000 square foot exhibition features hundreds of historic artifacts, documents, costumes and works of art from Spanish and U.S. museums, archives and private collections. It tells the story of Spain’s influence on the development of New Orleans and contribution to the founding of our country, in the building that once served as the seat of Spanish Colonial Louisiana.

Be the first to see Recovered Memories at its U.S. debut in the Cabildo, which has not had a new exhibition of this magnitude in over a quarter of a century. Cocktails and bar provided by the Goldring Family Foundation and Sazerac New Orleans. Spanish inspired Tapas and Sweets by Educated Palate and Gallician Chef, Andres Rodriguez.

Tickets are $200 per person. Louisiana Museum Foundation members and Presbytère & Cabildo Level Friends of the Cabildo members are $175 per person. Please RSVP by calling (504) 558-0493. No tickets will be mailed. Your name will be on our guest list at the entrance. Cocktail/Suit & Tie Attire
