Teens & Adults’ Sensory Friendly Day at the Cabildo
The Cabildo
Greater New Orleans
New Orleans
Event Date: Saturday, November 5, 2022

Teens and adults with autism and developmental disabilities and their families are invited to the Louisiana State Museum to explore New Orleans history and culture through museum exhibits! On Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Cabildo will close to the public to minimize crowds and exhibit noises. Trained educators and volunteers will help lead drop-in art activities and exploration of the exhibition We Love You, New Orleans. Participants will also hear traditional New Orleans music from a brass band and learn more about the instruments they use. Come create, dance, sing, and celebrate together. This program is free for the whole family, but registration is required. Please register here: https://forms.gle/3XHNZosTeTv61DVSA
