Louisiana Impressions: Printmaking at the Museum
The Cabildo
June 27, 2019 to August 18, 2019

The Louisiana State Museum is proud to exhibit work created at the museum by students in our inaugural adult printmaking course. Drawing on museum exhibitions and their own experiences in the Louisiana landscape, students designed and printed linoleum block prints. Their imagery adds a new visual interpretation of the history and culture on display in the museum and encourages visitors to consider their own perspective on the city. This program is generously funded through Aroha Philanthropies’ Seeding Vitality Arts in Museums Grant. This exhibition is located on the 2nd floor of the Arsenal.
