In February 2021, MetroMorphosis released a document that celebrates and educates all on Baton Rouge’s storied past and bright future. This campaign entitled Black Futures: A Sankofa Series yielded a city-wide celebration of Black Baton Rouge. The document was co-authored by Dr. Lori Martin a Professor at LSU and Chris Tyson, Director of Build Baton Rouge and former Professor at LSU Law. The leading voice of MetroMorphosis is Chief Executive Catalyst, Raymond A. Jetson. The nonprofit organization formed to accelerate and expand initiatives to empower inner-city residents of Baton Rouge to design and implement stable solutions to persistent community challenges.

Tickets include admission to the exhibition and are $10 or free for Friends of the Capitol Park Museum members.
