Lunchtime Lagniappe!
Capitol Park Museum
Plantation Country
Baton Rouge
Event Date: Wednesday, April 13, 2022

April is Architecture Month! To celebrate, come hear a presentation about the architecture of Old South  Baton Rouge and visit our exhibition Yellow Book: Old South Baton Rouge. The exhibition explores the legacy of interstate construction in the Old South Baton Rouge neighborhood and is part of photographer Johanna Warwick’s larger project The Yellow Book, named after a 1955 government publication showing proposed interstate routes.

The lecture is part of our free Lunchtime Lagniappe series, which features authors and experts discussing Louisiana history, culture, nature, and geography on the second Wednesday of each month. Presentations start at noon and last approximately thirty minutes plus Q&A so that you can attend on your lunch break. Feel free to bring your lunch!
