Teens & Adults’ Sensory Friendly Mardi Gras Celebration

Teen and adults with autism and developmental disabilities and their families are invited to the Louisiana State Museum to celebrate carnival in style! On Saturday, January 25^th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., trained educators and volunteers will help lead drop-in art activities and exploration of the exhibition "Mardi Gras: It's Carnival Time in Louisiana!" Participants will also hear music from the musicians of Preservation Hall and learn more about the instruments they use. Come create, dance, sing, and celebrate together.
