All Museums Closed Tuesday, February 17 for Mardi Gras

Louisiana State Museums will be closed on Mardi Gras Day so our staff, neighbors, and krewe of culture-keepers can celebrate the biggest day in New Orleans. All museum sites statewide will resume normal hours the following day.
Spend the day catching throws, dancing in the streets, and enjoying Louisiana’s most iconic holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back once the parades have rolled and the beads have settled.
