“Going to miss this Navy life…”

WWI—and especially WWII—brought many changes to our society. From the Civil Rights Movement to the Women’s Movement, much of what we take for granted in modern life can trace its origins to the World Wars. Join us as local historian Kevin Shannahan presents a look at several Louisiana women who served and whose lives, and society, were changed by their service. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit our FLASH Facebook page or call 318-357-2492.
