New Orleans
New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old U.S. Mint

Created in 2013, the FOC Concert Series has brought together musicians from New Orleans and across Louisiana to perform and archive their music for the Louisiana State Museum’s Music Collection. Join us for a unique musical experience at the intimate 100-seat, state-of-the-art 3rd Floor Performance Hall at the New Orleans Jazz Museum where you’ll be treated to a series of diverse performances by some Louisiana’s best.

In March hear Robin Barnes, widely known as the "Songbird of New Orleans," an award-winning contemporary jazz and soul vocalist, fitness entrepreneur, and cultural ambassador for the city of New Orleans. Born and raised in the Lower 9th Ward, she blends funky jazz, soul, and R&B into a signature sound often described as "Chaka Khan meets Ella Fitzgerald"
