A call to the Franklin Parish library yielded information that this plantation was cleared of all its timber late 19th - early 20th century, land then was farmed for cotton, sobeans. As of 9/25/1997 part of the land had been turned into a wild game reserve, while the remainder is used for farming,agricultural purposes.
