9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
New Orleans
The Cabildo

Children with autism and developmental disabilities and their families are invited to the Louisiana State Museum to explore New Orleans history through hands-on activities and exhibit exploration. The Cabildo will close to the public to minimize crowds and exhibit noises.

Trained educators and volunteers will help lead drop-in art activities and exploration of the exhibition Gálvez and Louisiana in the American Revolution. Participants will join in on an interactive performance from drummer Wesley Phillips and create their own drum inspired by the historic drums on display. Come explore and create together. This program is free for the whole family, but registration is required. Please visit https://forms.gle/EeU2YEhzPXhkSSPc8 to register.
