Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
The Louisiana State Museum periodically issues Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to gather ideas and input from businesses, organizations, and experts on a variety of projects. These RFPs help us explore potential partnerships and solutions that support our mission of preserving and enhancing Louisiana’s cultural heritage.
What is an RFP?
A Request for Proposals (RFP) is a standard government procurement process used to invite qualified vendors to submit detailed proposals for specific projects or services. RFPs outline the scope of work, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and other important details needed for consideration.
RFPs may be issued for projects such as:
- Historic Building Restoration: Seeking expertise in preservation and renovation.
- Museum Exhibition & Design: Developing engaging and educational visitor experiences.
- Property & Lease Management: Managing museum properties and leased spaces.
- Facility Maintenance & Operations: Improving infrastructure and services.
