Instructor Layla Ross gives yoga classes every Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the Cabildo on Jackson Square. If you don't have a mat, there are some available.

Natchitoches American Cemetery Walking Tour

Discover the stories of Natchitoches' past during this FREE guided tour of the American Cemetery, the oldest in the area. On the first Friday of each month, learn about the notable planters, businesspeople, politicians, and educators who shaped the region's history, with each marker serving as a window into their legacy. Tours begin at 11:30 a.m. at the 2nd Street entrance near Holy Cross Church and last until 12:30 p.m. (weather and staff permitting). Weekly Jazz Yoga Presented by the New Orleans Jazz Museum

Jazz Yoga is offered weekly on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Each “Meditation & Mindfulness for Musicians and Everyone” class embarks on a grand tour of the body and the little motions that bring us into and out of the traditional yoga forms.
