Notes

Location of sugarhouse indicated. Crevasse adjoined Denis Fouche's property. Includes notation, "The Soundings taken on the level of the water 9 feet below high Water, the levees A, B, C, D, E, & F are the first one, Ordered by the jury of inhabitants. Said levee crossing the pond from C to D with a wooden coffer. The jury being reconvened for the propose of relocating the levee, located it on the lines A B G H E & F. The first location would have cost 42000 thousand yards of earth and a coffer of 10,000 dollars. The 2nd levee will cost 66000 yards of earth."
