Fair. Edges dog-eared, some small tears and paper loss along edges. Browning, brittle, acidified. Worn along fold lines, torn and repaired along fold lines. Needs conservation.
Notes
Includes table, named public and private land claimants; this plan certified by E. W. Foster, Surveyor General of Louisiana, Jan 26, 1872. Sulakowski (1825-1873), a native of Poland, immigrated first to Houma, Louisaina, then in 1851, to New Orleans, where he worked as a civil engineer. He joined the Confederate Army during the Civil War, where he served as Chief Engineer under General John bankhead Magruder. In 1871 he was employed at the Unted States Land Office as a surveyor.
